It was the autumn of 2018 when Alex, Beppe and George were brought together by their shared passion for loud and fuzzy rock n roll. Located at the time on the island of Crete, the 3 musicians worked between their influences and soon, original material was put to paper, resulting to a debut EP titled "Black Hole Genesis". The riff-oriented with deep roots in the Greek tradition of heavy rock EP was exclusively released through 666Mr.Doom's YouTube channel, finding the proper audience for a reputation to be built. Soon after, a Greek tour was planned and in between the band had the chance to play along with a number of local big-hitters like Nightstalker, Naxatras, Void Droid, Automaton, etc.
Right after the tour, where the EP's material was solidified through performance and mixed with new songs, the title track got a videoclip and was also featured in a compilation of Greek stoner bands, in the "Doomed and Stoned" Bandcamp channel.
Throughout the pandemic years, Tidal Shock relocated in Luxemburg, did a festival gig alongside 1000Mods and spent all their creative time assembling tunes for the upcoming full length album. "Riffs of Ha" is now completely ready, furthering the experimental character of the band.
